MY FIRST BLOG!!!!

Hey ya'll! I am now a blogger! For those of you that know me best, you are probably thinking WTF Maria? HOWEVER...I have two very good reasons for starting this. Number 1...I am a "Digital Media Consultant" it is kind of required to be a blogger and participate in all Social Media!! Number 2...I have no time to actually go into detail about what I am doing in this world we call Panama City Beach, so for all of you that want to know exactly what I'm up to...here ya go! I'll do my best to keep up with postings every week...for now I will just type!

So, the main question I get from ya'll is what does a Digital Media Consultant Do??

A DMC is a "MARKETING EXPERT" for all mediums on the internet. Email, texting, advertising on Google, Yahoo!, Bing, starting profiles on Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, E-commerce (shopping online), Websites, Landing Pages, YouTube, Domain Names, Reputation Management (monitoring reviews online), etc.

....Pretty cool, I know, I've been there!

So, my everyday job includes cold calling, knocking on business doors and setting appointments with all local businesses in the Bay County and surrounding areas. I get hung up on, yelled at, and kicked out of businesses for doing my job...but when one person stops to listen to me, I get rewarded nicely. $$$$$$$$

And they get to advertise on the 3 biggest search engines Google, Yahoo! and Bing. I build them commercial videos that go on YouTube and Facebook, and their websites, as well as write their whole campaign for all their online necesities!!

So there it is!!! And now your next question is, Maria, what the hell do you know about any of this? =)
